An In-Depth Look at On-Site High Quality Large Volume Spay/Neuter Clinics

RJ Bailot, Executive Director, Alberta Spay/Neuter Taskforce (ASNTF)
Jackie Lind, RVT, Medical Manager, Alberta Spay/Neuter Taskforce (ASNTF)

The ASNTF is a registered charity that provides proactive, community-based pet wellness clinics for communities that are experiencing pet overpopulation issues. We also aim to improve human health uses that have resulted from pet overpopulation.

This presentation will look at how and why the ASNTF was formed. It will also provide and in-depth tour of a typical clinic and the resources involved in it.

Key Learnings:
1. A small group of dedicated individuals can change the lives of thousands of companion animals and their guardians!
2. What resources are required to provide a large volume spay neuter program.
3. Community and volunteer engagement are the keys to success!
